I love the series of Harmony remotes from the Swedish based Logitech. The Harmony series of remotes have really bought usable universal remotes prices down to an affordable level, even though Logitech acquired the technology through a corporate buyout.

Unfortunately after prolong use the remote or the changing dock can seem like it is dying or just fails to work. When attempting to charge the remote using the supplied dock the two don’t seem to connect properly.

A simple non-tech solution is to simply clean the bronze coloured connectors underneath the remote. I’d recommend spraying a mild glass cleaner such as Windex onto a rag and wiping the connectors that way. As you certainly don’t want to be spray anything directly onto the remote or using acidic chemicals.
